Great Interest in the “Art in the Deep Earth” Exhibition/Workshop Event Held in the Salt Cave
The exhibition and workshop event titled “Art in the Depths of the Earth” held at the “Mount Ararat Respiratory Summit-2” meeting hosted by our university attracted great interest from the guests.
The "Ağrı Mountain Respiratory Summit-2" meeting was held in Tuzluca salt caves by the Turkish Thoracic Society in partnership with Iğdır University and Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University.
After the meeting, an exhibition and workshop event called "Art in the Depths of the Earth" was organized by our University's Technical Sciences Vocational School and Fine Arts Faculty.
The event was curated by Lecturer Akif Bayrak, while the organization team included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdül Tekin, Assist. Prof. Mehmet Sıddık Turan, and Lecturer Dr. Elçin Telli.
At the event, many works of art such as ceramics, felt, marbling, tiles, leather processing and glass products made using the recycled method were presented to the visitors.
In the event, where workshops were also held for the participants, art lovers had the chance to create their own works with the help of expert instructors.
Making a statement after the event and emphasizing the importance of art meeting nature, Lecturer Dr. Elçin Telli said, “Such artistic activities both establish a strong bond between participants and increase the interaction of art with nature. These events, held in a natural place like the Salt Cave, offer unforgettable experiences to participants.”
